#AskTheExpert 20 months old inhaled water while having water from open cup.. later he is sneezing and have runny nose? plz help

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very guseful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be ufsed in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. Wikoryl Can be given to the child twice a day as of now these things are very common we know when the water gets inside the nose it’s very discomforting for anybody and your baby
