#AskTheE hello mam.. my baby is 20 month old. she got fever with above 100° .P-125 drop diya hai but still fever thik nhi ho rha ...kya kru

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. The baby usually 8 months of age generally in the baby the fever is a viral infection which will take at least 3 to 4 days time to subscribe you may continue the same medicines at present

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body and only a temperature above 99F is considered as fever, so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if agais.n required
and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever,but if it continues further you should consult your doctor for proper treatment.
