Q.

as far as I remember the last oral polio drops given for my baby was on 9th month. As today march 3rd is it mandatory to give polio drops ??

A. my child has just cold. my wife opion is why to extra dose medicine today and feels like it's not really necessary as we have given polio drops in 9th month. If it's really needed we will go any private hospital and take it their. my kid is 1.8 months old is it ok to take polio drops before he truns 2. ?

A. yes advisable pulse polio immunization is extra dosage irrespective of the vaccination schedule as well as the vaccination that is been given to the child. it is advisable that you get the child vaccinated for polio if the child is not having any type of fever at present. simple cough and cold is not a contraindication for polio drops. it is usually available at any government centre that is primary and centre or urban health centre
