Mam actually for cough mostly syrup are only available to be given so if you are interested in Ayurvedic I’ll suggest you what I am giving is Dabur sitopaladi churna about quarter teaspoon to a little more and with some honey you can make into it and you can give to the child that would be very good and for tablet for child I would recommend you Sinarist
