Q.
A newborn baby does not open his eyes even after two days of birth. After opening his eyes for a few times, he closes them. If he keeps his eyes closed, how long will he keep them...so care should be taken.

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. a proper examination by the pediatrician should be done to rule out whether there is any secretions present in the eye due to which the eyes are not opening
normally babies sleeps more during first 15 days to 1 month ,in this case you just need to feed your baby every 2 hourly and let the baby sleep rest of the time
