98f fever temperature is normal or not for baby???

Expertdr Komal agrawalPaediatrician7 years agoA. Hello..98 f temperature is normal for the baby..if temperature more then 100.4 the consider it as fever...if more then keep monitoring temperature and if stays for 2-3days then consult doctor..

Hello, yes it is normal.. define a fever as an oral temperature above 37.5°C (99.5°F) or a rectal temperature above 38.0°C (100.4°F) or an axillary (under the arm) temperature above 37.2°C (99°F) (ear temperatures are not accurate in children under 6 months of age.

Shaista TarannumMom of a 17 yr 1 m old boy7 years agoA. it's normal temperature. anything above 99.4 is fever . paracetamol will be required to be given. anything above 102 is high fever and will require Meftal or ibugesic to be given. please always consult your Pediatrician itself once before giving any medicine.
