Q.

6 months baby boy is suffering from congestion and cold. Doctor has prescribed : 1) NOCOLD DROPS(CIPLA) 0.5 ML thrice a day 2) AMOXYCILLIN & POTASSIUM CLAVULANATE ORAL SUSPENSION I.P.(GLENMARK) 2.5 ML thrice a day 3) Vicks baby run on chest 4) SALANIE NASAL DROPS IS IT OK TO GIVE BABY THESE MUCH MEDICINES? CONFUSED.

A. Hi please reconsult Paediatrician in case of any doubt he knows babys condition best meanwhile give indirect steam use vaporizer it helps in liquefying mucus and chest congestion give exclusive breastfeeds it provides antibodies to fight infections hand washing is important for preventing infections
