Baby is having cold cough and fever then it can be due to viral infection you need to give him steam inhalation indirectly to times in the day and also keep him well hydrated .consult with your doctor near by who will examine the baby and guide you with appropriate medications in their proper dose.
Viral fever can last from 3-5 days so you need to to give the prescribed medications for this duration at least and if it is persistent beyond you need to go for the investigation as per the advice of the doctor

good afternoon for cold I would recommend that you should try to give your baby in direct steam and you can try to do hot compress on the chest of the child and I would recommend you to try to give your baby a massage with warm mustard oil
