4 months toddler having cold what is the syrup to be provided?

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist4 years agoA. give as prescribedavoid cold climate, cold winds. give plenty of feeds , adequate rest to the baby. indirect steam , hot water bath will also help. consult your paediatrician if baby is feeding less, excessively drowsy or if cold increases. post illness babies might be cranky , irritable. nose block congestion also result in loss of appetite, difficult sucking. try different head up feeding position. feed by spoon otherwise. Maintain hygiene. if bottle feeding, maintain sterility as its a common source of infections.

Hello ma’am Please consult your paediatrician for the same because it is recommended for at least such a small child to go for a proper checkup and medication because the doctor 1st needs to see that if there is a throat infection or anything else and accordingly any medication can be suggested
