Q.
Zayan have cough and cold and fever last from 3 days

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor accordigng to the type of sdcough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear Put saline (saltwater) drops in the nostrils to relieve nasal congestion.
Rn a cool-mist humidifier to increase air moisture.
Dab petroleum jelly on the skin under the nose to soothe rawness.
Give hard candy or cough drops to relieve sore throat (only for kids older than 6).
