Why salt and sugar needs to be avoided for babies ?

A. It I said that it would be damaging for the child in terms of its growth and everything which is why they say that you should not give salt and sugar but every paediatrician has a different opinion my doctor always advised me to start everything from the beginning so I give everything from the beginning
