Q.

why my 25 days old baby's yellow colour on body and eyes doesn't gone. Bilirubin level is 11.5

A. After 5days of birth he had bilirubin level 13.5 and done phototherapy. then it decreased to 6.5

A. there is always a chance of neonatal jaundice in small children within one or maximum 2 weeks of birth in which the skin as the eyes may appear yellow. you have to meet the doctor for evaluation of the jaundice. normal simple jaundice will go awsay on its own with only breastfeeding but if it is more your doctor will advise phototherapy. the yellowness from the eyes may take around 1 to 1 and half month to totally go away. s

Q. my baby has jaundice on 3rd day after birth. his bilirubin level was 13.38 at that time. he had given phototherapy. after 15 days his levels were 13.04. right now he is 1 month 5 days old. he still has yellow eyes. he is on breastfeeding. her urine output is 10-12 times a day. he is pooping 3 to 5 times a day. stool colour is yellow.. when yellow eyes will disappear?
