Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. many times keeping tongue outside is very common in children. it is not commonly associated with any major disease condition.
sometimes it might be associated with some syndrome and disease condition in which condition a periodic examination will be required along with somez investigation.
if the growth and development of the child is within normal limits for age then it is very less likely that the child is having anyx disease condition even if the child keeps the the tongue outside the oral cavity

The tongue-thrust reflex that babies are born with includes sticking the tongue out. This helps facilitate breast or bottle feeding. While this reflex typically disappears between 4 to 6 months of age, some babies continue to stick their tongues out from habit.
