Why does baby get white patches on their face? is it normal?

many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application. 
they will persist for few weeks and then will go away
if the problem    
continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation.

some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

White patches on skin is fungal infection. Apply coconut oil on the face. The anti fungal property of coconut oil will help to get relief from white patches.. If no improvement then consult with ur doctor for the same.

it may be for dry weather.  apply olive oil thoroughly to the body.
