many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application. 
they will persist for few weeks and tfhen will go away
if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor focr evaluation.

some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

Give healthy protein rich nutritious food take seasonal fruits and vegetables which is rich in all minerals and vitamins maintain hydration  
Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc
