white color patches on my 5 month baby girl what is the exact reason behind that white patches

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. the most common cause of white patch on the body is due to dryness of the skin also known as atopic dermatitis and sometimes it can occur due to allergy.
it is important to apply moisturising lotion but if it is not improving you have to meet the doctor to rule out any other problem

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good morning It will usually go on its own. Just monitor for few days. If I doesn't disappear or if it spreading you can see your doctor. Leave skin free to heal faster. Don't apply lotions or creams as it may worsen sometimesThere are many good brands available in the market. Just see what suits and go for it. Also you can check the reviews for the particular product you wish to use. That would help.
