there is small white patches on my daughter's cheeks. may I know what the reason behind?

A. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application. they will persist for few weeks and then will go away if the problem continues bedyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation. some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream. x

A. Hello mom Some white patches are totally normal so you should definitely not worry about it at all. Rather than this if it is spreading all those babies skin that in such case you should definitely consult with your doctor about it. Otherwise there is nothing to worry about it.
