when should I start giving gripe water to my one month old baby ?... my baby getting suffocate before pooping is it ok

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is not advisable to give gripe water to the child on the regular basis because at the end it is a type of medicine which will help in decreasing the colic pain but yes it has got side effects so do not give this without medical consultation.
it contains sodium bicarbonate as well as plenty of sugars which has got side effects for such a small child

if necessary you can give it to your child
please always feed your child in tilted position and keep in up ward position after every feed
please give daily massage with Babyhug massage oil
