when do babies able to recognize mother?

For initial three months to 5 months they recognised with the spell of the mother and slowly after three months when they gain their vision and when they see the mothers face every now and then by the time of 6 to 7 months they can very clearly recognise and understand their mother prior to that it’s only about the smell of the mother
