what medicines should be used for cough n cold?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitusgsives medicine which should be given only after a prhgoper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

You can go ahead with giving same to the child indirectly twice a day along with that you can also focus on giving nebulisation to the child you can get ginger juice and honey mixture to the child twice a day that’s going to help in reducing down the congestion over the periodWrite Your Answer Here
