we are giving oral.laxative to our 3.5 years toddler from last 2 years we give her 15 ml relux syrup everyday once.wen we reduce dose or try to stop laxative casntipation problem again arises.is it safe to use relux for long ttime already we are using from 2 yeara.what would u suggest and whay other options do we have

A. constipation is treated by dim.et modification with high fibres and plenty of liquids in diet as well as lactulose for polyethylene glycol can be given in proper dosages if required on medical advice .
