A. Baby eczema needs treatment to go away completely. The best treatment is using moisturizer daily or several times each day to keep your baby's skin hydrated. Most cases of baby eczema clear up by the time they start school, around age 4 or 5.Use a mild cleanser and warm water. After a bath of no more than 15 minutes, rinse completely, gently pat your baby dry and apply a fragrance-free cream or ointment such as petroleum jelly (Vaseline), while the skin is still damp. Moisturize at least twice a day, perhaps at diaper changes.Cold pressed coconut oil. ...Cold pressed sunflower oil. ...Vitamin B12 cream. ...Calendula cream. ...Oatmeal baths. ...Salt. ...Evening Primrose Oil and Borage (Star Flower) Oil. ...Vitamin D.
