Q.
There is a polio vaccination drive by government of India today. is it mandatory to take polio drops for a 2 year old if the kid has already taken private vaccines and is walking and running?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. simple fever , cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it isd advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest.
the maximum you can delay wouldd be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination
if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child andd tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination
