start iron calcium and multivitamin regularly and protein powder with milk twice a day
offer more liquid and fruits to improve appetite and digestion

U See a lot of time these things can happen due to deficiency of iron and multivitamin in the body so you should get a check with your doctor to understand what is missing what kind of a supplement would be required and accordingly the doctor would be able to help you and dad
