reason behind three months old baby tongue turn black

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. black tongue can be due to iron supplements you might be giving to the child and it should get cleaned with your clean finger. x
if it is not decreasing in intensity after cleaning then you will have to rule out fungal infection of the tongue.
it is advisable to get the child examine by the doctor.

If you’re giving any iron supplement to the child and that’s definitely the biggest reason and sometimes it can probably be due to that you’re not cleaning the tongue properly when you’re giving a bath he supposed to clean the tongue properly by using your tongue cleaner so that can also be one of the biggest reasons behind it
