Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. they are respiratory secretions which is present in the narrow respiratory tract of the child.
The sound of ghar... Ghar.. is present when air passes over these secretions in the narrow respiratory tract.
if the respiratory rate of the child is within normal limits and the child is not having any other complaints do not worry about the sound which is present due to respiratory secretions.
if you feel that the child is having some difficulty in breathing you can always give nasal saline drops in the nasal cavity which will wash away the mucus present in the nasal cavity as well as the respiratory tract.
the problem improve with increasing age of the child when there is broadening of the respiratory tract
it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Seemi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes
