Q.

#pediatrician My 8 month baby shattering head one side only. For 5-7 count continuously he does touching ear to shoulder for 3/4 times in a day. Is there any cause of concern? Please reply.

A. such type of behaviour always decreases with increasing age of the child and it is very common behaviour at this age. with proper diversion and getting the child fengaged in another things will help in decreasing such behaviour. meet your doctor for more advice and also share the video of such behaviourd with the doctor. also see that the child is not having iron deficiency because that can aggravate this behaviour

Q. My daughter just turned one. She is touching her ear and head often. We consulted a nearby pediatrician on this. He gave drops for earwax and asked us not to worry about the child touching her head and ear. She hits her head with both her hands sometimes. But she does not cry when doing this. She fell a couple of times before months from cot once and when she tried walking one. We also took her to check if there are issues, but our pediatrician said she was fine. We needed your opinion on the child touching her head and ear often.
