My son turned to 9 month and no teething yet started. Do I need to consult paediatric dentist.

A. for tooth development and eruption the first important thing is that the child should not have deficiency of calcium and vitamin d. first tooth eruption can occur anytime between 6 months to 18 months of age. deficiency is there or not will be told by the doctor. there is no need to worry because msany times the first tooth eruption may occur as late as 16 to 18 months of age also.d so if your personal doctor is not worried then no need to worry from your side

A. Wait till the age of 17 months and if you do not see it happening by that age on the higher side in that case you would be free to consult a dentist but right now there is no delay so there is no need to consult a doctor this early you can wait till the age of 17 months easily
