A. This occurs as a result of improper nutrition. The deficiency of Vitamin B12 and other minerals like copper and zinc can also cause greying of hair. Give foods rich in Vitamin A like green vegetables and yellow fruits. Eat foods rich in Vitamin B like yoghurt, green leafy vegetables, tomatoes, cauliflowers and bananas. Zinc is found in green vegetables, chicken and red meat. Iron is found in eggs, dried apricots, wheat, parsley and sunflower seeds. Copper is found in whole grain foods or seafood.
