my son is speaking but not able to form sentences ...is this really a concern as everyone says he is speaking less compared to other kids.

No it is not a matter of concern the more you communicate and teacher child to connect to words slowly the child is going to learn to frame sentences it is not a problem they start with two words and three words and that is how they learn to frame a sentence just practice is the key
