Q.

my son is now 3 year 5 months old. he can understand some instructions and he responds to it but he won't give response when we call his name and sometimes he acts weirdly and he is still not talking in sentence but he has good memory in others things like he will sing songs, rhymes,shlokas and also he will dance. is there any problem with him.

A. Are you using only one formal name for your child to call because when you use different names for your child to call me you know like you have your nickname do you have have other names have parents call their kids so if you are using all of them then maybe the child is confusion not certain about a particular name that belongs to the child but if the child is called by one name yet there is no response it is a problem and kids in this age can very well respond to rhyme and music and can repeat also but they do not have sense of other understanding as to your following making your child follow making them do something and they follow it correctly so better to consult a doctor regarding this
