Q.

My son is having fever since last week of Feb but it went with calpol after 3 days, again on 5 th March he got too high fever which went upto 105.2 and 104 as it was Sunday n no doc is available i kept on giving him calpol but fever would not go easily . immediately on Monday I took him to a doc n doc sd he s suffering from ongoing adenovirus.he described the medcns n sd fever would go in 4 to 5 days . He was now nt taking his food n medcns properly n suddenly after 3 days he started getting serious n would not get up frm his bed .I again took him to the same doc as he gt difficulty in breathing doc advised him to get admitted to hospital asap.at the hospital he gt fever just for one day n den for 6 days of his admission he didn't get fever on last 5 days so doc gav him discharge after 6 days of antibiotics.he was diagnosed with pneumonia.now after discharge he cm home n was fine that day but the very next day again he started getting high fever .i called my doc but he was out of town n he advised me to gv him calpol 250 but i was worried n showed him to another doc. the other doc told me that fever may b viral n will go in 3 days .but till now it's 4 days but fever is still there .he has been given two antibiotics at the time of discharge which is lizomed and mesosure .is it the side effect of dese antibiotics or what is the reason behind such high fever n y does it come again n again .m very worried .plz help me

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is quite difficult to say anything about it without personally examination and reports evaluation and better to consult with your treating doctor in person as doctor knew the exact health condition of your baby and can guide you better and if you are not satisfied with present doctor then you can take a second opinion in person too.
