Q.
my son is having fever 101.7 and running nose since Friday night 18 july 25 .I gave ibugesic but fever was there so we went on Saturday night to doctor... he suggested continue ibugesic and gave antibiotics, cold syrup and cold rub.... but through medicine fever is not going down only after doing sponging then his temperature goes down... what to do

You can continue a cold sponge and give medicine to the child it is normally said that if the fever doesn’t subside by the time of 72 hours of giving the first medication then in that case it would be good for you that you go for further assessment as it may be associated with any other kind of fever
