Q.

My son is constantly sucking thumb. I want to stop this habit. Can I put mittens for his hands? Till what age can I wear mittens to my son?can I use demote lotion?

A. not advisable to use any type of lotion or cream to decrease the habit because it is a self limiting condition which will go away with increasing age of the child and it usually occurs due to teething process
