Q.

my son is anemic....his Hb is 9.2.....although I gave him fe iron veg,fruits,nuts ....what could be the reason then? and how to deal

A. You also should start giving iron supplement to the child because that is going to give it a support if your child is consuming good and healthy Iron diet that’s very very good but supplement is definitely going to give you a better support is required you can ask your doctor you can get injections also done if you are okay with thatWrite Your Answer Here

Q. #asktheexpert Hi, I am 7 months pregnant now. O negative blood. No matter how much iron-rich food I consume (amla, beetroot, green leafy veg, nuts), I am still anemic. HB is 9.8 even after taking intravenous iron. Tablets give me severe constipation and ruptures my old fissure so I can't rely on medicines either. Feels like my body does not absorb iron.
