Q.

My son is 9 months old,he is having cough and cold from 2 weeks, continuing the medication prescribed by our pediatrician,I am using Maxtra syrup and Ascoril ls drops but still no improvement..can u please suggest an alternative medicine

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu wchhere most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation canb be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
