my son is 9 month old and he continuesly having cold and running nose

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be gikhven to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

shilpi BhandariMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello mom along with medication give your baby steam at least three times a day put nasal drops in nose for easy breathing put ajwain potli nearby him so that he can breathe easily keep his head elevated while sleeping if your baby is 6 months or older you can rub Vicks on his foot or otherwise rub on his clothes
