Q.

my son is 21 months old, please help how to start potty training. he is going daycare 10-5 and I put diapers for that time. when he has at home we never put diaper but he don't want to go for pee and potty in toilet. he start crying when we bring him at toilet. please suggest what should I do ? also he is doing potty 4-5 times . is this normal?

A. i am trying and purchased a potty seat as well for him. he is 22 months old now but doesn't want to sit on potty. what should I do?

A. potty training and toilet training should be initiated as soon as the child completes one and half years of age. avoid before that except if you feel that the child is giving cues when he or she wants to pass stool. also good demonstration has to be given again and again to the child to reinforce the habit. make the child sit on potty seat daily so that the child gets accustomed and not fearful of the seat and situation kindly go through variousx articles on potty training on firstcry. please be patient as after starting training it may take 6 months also for the child to learn.

A. If you need to break this habit then need to stop using diapers for the child not even in the daycare and start taking your child to the washroom every two hours you can also use potty or something or potty seat to make your child comfort you can also show some videos online on television like on YouTube but not mobile don’t toilet training
