My son is 20 mnth old he does not speak any word

From July she is falling sick every week.
Fever and cold. I’ m giving her cold and fever medicine.
Now she complained about stomach ache headaches cold chills fever.
I took her to doctor she gave medication.
She was fine and went to school.
Next day morning she is low on energy and complaining about headache and fever.
What could be the reason?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age cs.
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
