he response us in each and every thing and follow all the things which we tell him... only the matter is he doesn't speak..

proper language / speech development will start between 18 months of age to 3 years of age. 
there is no need to worry before that just concentrate on the diet and regular interaction with the child.
also speech and language develops properly with more people available to interact with the child
avoid usage of tv mobile and laptop because they are the most common reasons for delayed speech and language development.

the most important thing is that before speech, understanding of the commands given by the parents should be present.z
by 18 months if the child is not following basic commands then only you have to meet the doctor for speecxh and development assessment.
requirement of speech therapy will also be discussed by your doctor.

as a child is able to speak few words,as such no need to worry
just limit your child screen time
instead of it, spend quality time with your child
ask simple questions,play different games,read stories with your child,it will surely help
