my son is 11 years old and his weight is 50kgs. he is vomitting since morning. what dosage of omdem should be given to him ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. you will have to give either 10 ml to the child from syrup or it may be one tablet of ondansetron for vomiting
after vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food.
do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period.
if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor.
avoid giving milk and heavy diet.
vomit usually occurs due to gastritis

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Hi, syrup ondem can be given 3 ml, twice a day for vomiting, but it can relive only vomiting. Avoid milk for a day or two and give her rest of her diet.
