my son has cold since one week. today his nose is also bleeding. what might be the reason for nose bleeding?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergirc rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the casres along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Most nosebleeds are not serious and can be stopped by applying light pressure to both nostrils for 5 to 10 minutes. In cases where the bleeding does not stop, you should contact your doctor or take your baby to the nearest emergency department.
