my shihaam is having cold and cough for a year now. doctors says it's allergic or its because they have started going to school. but i get really worried.

A. my daughter also faced same issue ..we consulted paediatric pulmonologist..he suggested Huff puff kit which is useful for allergic cough but need to use only with doctor suggestion..try to find which is causing allergy like is it because of good..or heredetric or pollen dust etc etc . don't worry cough n cold very common in kids until 5 yrs of age later in they develop resistance

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor accordinvyg to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if reqiuired .

Hello Doctors and experience mothers,my son is 8 months old,and he has allergic cold issues since he was 5 months old,so he easily get cold and most of the time dry cold,no cough,but his chest makes sound like cough,i had visit Many times to the doctor because of his chest sounds,i thought it was cough,but his doctor said no its because of his nose is blocked and he had cold thats for the reason of that sound,because of his allergic issues i am not outside avoiding many things as can possible,still many times he get cold,now his chest again sounds like grrrrr like a cough,but he is not coughing,just sneezing,please tell me what can k do for avoiding his allergic cold,and this chest sound,please reply 🙏🏻
