Q.
my newborn refuses to latch. how should we supplement her till she starts breastfeeding? should we use bottle or spoon? what supplement should we give to her?

ExpertKanika AroraNutritionist4 years agoA. hello Dear mum it is difficult to latch the baby in the early phase take help from someone and consult the lactation expert and try to breastfeed the baby the more you breastfeed the more will be the milk production also you can use formula like lactogen similac Nan Pro which are easily available and can be given in feeding bottle

initial days with newborns are very hard.
but please don't give up.
try different feeding position.
make skin to skin Contact while feeding your child.
it will help to encourage your child to take more feeds.
keep the environment calm and dark while feeding.
avoid distractions.
