A. constipation in small babies is very common and is more with formula milk. Usually constipation of few days is considered as normal in babies below 6 months of age,you can give bonnisan drops 3 times a day to your child will and give frequent feeding, usua;lly medicines or suppositories are avoided in such a case .if baby is having gastric pain you can give collicaid drops.give proper tummy time and burping to avoid gastric trouble.

A. If he is exclusively breastfed then constipation is rare. He will pass stools eventually. Do tummy time, cycling motion of legs and do burp properly. If baby becomes irritable and does not feed properly, then please consult your doctor. Formula fed babies may suffer from constipation. So watch for consistency of stools as well.
