A. If your 8-month-old girl is not taking sufficient food, try offering small, frequent meals with a variety of soft, easy-to-digest foods like mashed fruits, vegetables, porridge, and well-cooked rice or dal. Create a calm, distraction-free feeding environment and avoid forcing her to eat. Include iron-rich foods like mashed eggs or lentils. Ensure she's not teething, unwell, or constipated, as these can affect appetite. Breast milk or formula should still be a major part of her diet. If poor intake continues or weight gain is inadequate, consult a pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues.
