Q.

My kid is 18 months old, but he is not speaking any words like mummy, etc even if I speak infornt of him. how to make him pronounce the words which we speak. he is not catching the words I speak before him

A. for proper fluent speech you need to wait till 3 years of age of the child to speak in complete sentences clearly and fluently if its not so then consult doctorfo to know if speech therapy is required.till that time keep interacting as much as possible in your spoken language and involve the child in language learning activities using audiovisual aids too. dont worry if other milestones are normal this will also be achieved in time at times it may get delayed..there are variations in children by age for this. . .

A. interact more with the baby take the help of the speech therapist For further advice in this problem it is advisable to consult your doctor for proper physical examination appropriate investigations and proper advice please see your doctor once
