Language issue so you should know about language development is a part of brain growth and is a milestone.

Speech is also dependent on hearing ability so need to check that too by ENT doctor. 
Reduce screen time, encourage conversations , recite play time and bed time stories to your baby. Improve interaction avoid tv avoid smartphones to baby. 
Incase all such tricks do not prove successful then should not delay help seeking and should see a pediatrician and speech therapist soon.

Sir he is only able to speak in his own language .
However , he is able do actions when told to do so like hello ,kiss ,Jai hind ,bye bye etc.
plus he is doing a lot of stool almost 3-4 times a day.
We  feel his growth is on a lower side.Plz guide us doctor .
we are giving him buffallo milk , fruits, dal , cerelacs roti in small qty.

If a 16 month old is not talking at although, it would be considered a developmental expressive communication delay. If a 16 month old is saying less than 30 words spontaneously they would definitely be considered to be at risk of being a late talker for his or her age.
