Hello, your baby boy is 7 months old and if you want to give him a influenza vaccinations then it gives protection against many flues viruses like birds flu and swine flu and covid is a flu only so it gives protection against it so you should give two primary doses at 6,7 months and then one single dose every year

Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine is basically a vaccine which protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children because of less immunity.
Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu infection which is very common every year . this vaccine is given after 6 months of age and initially two doses ahfre given one month apart then every year single dose is required .
It is not documented but still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .
