brush twice a day using a grain size of kids age appropriate fluoridated toothpaste like colgate kids, cheerio to prevent decay of other teeth and don't give sticky food

You can consult doc and simultaneously don't give much sweet like chocolate etc.
Btw these are sweet tooth, not permanent tooth so don't worry much. Do brushing twice in a day .
